What are the 2 main responsibilities of the Product Owner?
1) Maximizing the value of the product resulting from work of the development team.
2) Management of the Product Backlog (sole person responsible for it)

- Clearly expressing Product Backlog items
- Ordering the Product Backlog items to best achieve goals
- Optimizing the value of the work from the development team
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all; and show what the Scrum Team will work on next
- Ensuring the development team understands items in Product Backlog to the level needed
Can the Product Owner delegate the Backlog management?
Yes. BUT, the Product Owner remains accountable.
Can product owner be a committee?
NO, Product owner may represent the requests of a committee in the Product Backlog, but Product Owner is one person.
What is needed from the organization in order for the Product Owner to succeed?
The entire organization must respect her/his decisions.
Where can we see the Product Owner’s decisions?
In the content and ordering of the Product Backlog.
