What is a lymph
A
Collection of tissue that filters the products of the blood

What is lymphoma?
A
Malignant leukaemia of lymph glands.

What can causes cervical (neck) lymphadenopathy
A
Cancer, URTI

Where would you look for lymphoid cells?
A
Blood, spleen, bone marrow, liver

Why is it hard to classify leukaemia and lymphomas
A
Present variably

What are constitutional symptoms?
A
Flu like symptoms fever,night sweats and being unwell.
In lymphoma you also get enlarged lymphs, spleen and liver

What causes lymphadenopathy?
A
Infections
Malignancies
Others e.g. 3S’s- Sarcoidosis, SLE, skin diseases
