primary aldosteronism – symptoms
fatigue, weakness, headache, nocturia
known cause of secondary hypertension
may have hypokalemia
workup for primary aldosteronism

PAC to PRA ratio – positive screen in >= 20 ng/dl
–mineralocorticoids (spirinolactone) and eplerenone (inspra) may interfere with the test
