Pitot-Static Errors

• Pitot Blocked (ASI reads zero because no ram pressure)
• Pitot Blocked and drainhole blocked (ASI acts like altimeter increases speed with increased altitude decreases speed decreased altitude due to air pressure being blocked in lines)
• Static Port Blocked (Altimeter and VSI freeze, “ASI will read inaccurately, when climbing airspeed will read inaccurately low, when you descend ASI reads inaccurately high”)

Compass turns slower moving away from North heading, and turns faster Moving away from South heading due to Magnetic poles South pushes away the North magnet in the compass and North pulls the North magnet in the compass.

On east or west headings compass moves north if you accelerate and moves south if you decelerate
