What are the four marks of the church
A
One, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church; found in the creed
One –monotheistic faith, united by one purpose (to be Christ’s body here on earth), brought together by one Mass
Holy –set apart for a special purpose, Jesus is the source of holiness and the Church is a visible sign of it
Catholic –The Church is universal; meaning it is both worldwide and accepts anyone into the faith, Jesus is universally present
Apostolic –The traditions of the apostles have been preserved and live on in the Church. Apostolic succession means the authority bestowed by Jesus to the apostles
