humans have a sense of rationality + reason due to the ability to think and therefore able to think morally and analyse situations before acting (INTELLIGENCE ) // leads on to us having recognition and awe thus pertain it to be a higher power ( see 5 precepts)

use instinct bc they’re animals and that’s their purpose
