way in which firm promotes its product at point of sale (POS).
plenty of thought is put into the visual display of a product and the way that the product is presented within selling location.
sales promotions
short term offers used by firms in order to increase sales for their products.
advertising
firms pay for promotion of their product through main media like television, radio and the press. (‘above the line’ promotion).
‘above the line’
controlled advertisement that is paid for.
‘below the line’
uncontrolled advertisement that is not always paid for.
