A group of 7 countries: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

- Boost trade
- Strengthen relationships
- Exchange ideas
Who are the G20? What do they do?
An international forum for the governments and central banks of 20 major economies. They meet at a summit every year to discuss issues.
Why was the G20 established in 1990?
Gives a voice to the major developing economies who felt that the WTO was not fully serving their interests.
What is the OECD? What do they do?
The Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development involving 34 or the richest and most influential countries. This is an important source of networking between countries committed to a market economy.
