A network of roads carries people and good throughout a city. Similarly, a network of blood vessels the driving force is your heart.Why does your body need this system? Why us blood called a living thing?
Because the heart is the engine of the body and blood is full of cells.
Where does your heart get fuel from?
From the food that the humans eat it turns into energy.
Oxygen enters a unicellular animal what is the animal doing with the air.
The cells are using oxygen and are producing carbon dioxide.
What is a diaphragm?
It is a sheet of muscle across the bottom of the chest cavity that causes us to inhale and exhale.
What does Breathing mean?
The regular movement of air into and out of the lungs.
What is the Trachea?
A rigid tube that provides passage of air from the mouth and nose to the lungs.
What does Epiglottis mean?
A flap of tissue that closes over the opening of the trachea during swallowing.
What type of function is breathing?
It is an automatic body function because you don’t have to think about breathing and you already are breathing.
What does Respiration mean?
The process by which animals take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
The lungs have tiny hairs what are the hairs jobs?
It exchanges the air and blood.
