A
firm and somewhat flexible found in ends of long bones. It covers the ends long bones. It contains collagen fibers.

Fibrocartilage
A
stronger then hyaline cartilage containing wide rows of thick collagenous fibers. It’s able to withstand long both tension and pressure and is found where support and pressure is important. (cartilage of knee, disks between vertebrae).

A
more flexible then hyaline due to the elastin fibers. (found in ear flaps and epiglottis).
