GIS
are software applications designed to capture, store manipulate, analyse manage and present all kinds of geographical information.
DEM
are digital illustrations taht use a range of data to generate a 3D representation of the earth’s surface.

HOW IS TECHNOLOGY USED TO MEASURE CHANGE AND COLLECT INFO?
A
Psatial technologies such as GPS is being used to get aerieal photos, ships and tide emters. Then this data is collected and analysed by GIS and then DEM’s will create a model. These are used to track, monitor, predict and compare changes and information.
