Name and describe the 3 stages of a change process

A
  • UNFREEZE: analysing the situation, create awareness of situation and explain the problem.
  • CHANGE: process where organisation must start implementing the changes (it is the most difficult part)
  • FREEZE: once we have reach the point we desire our company to be in, we must stick to that type of doing things (organisational design) but always testing if it continues to work correctly.

  • LEGITIMATE: belief a person ha the right to make demands and expect obedience.
  • REWARD: power appears from the person’s capability to compensate another for completing something (obedience).
  • EXPERT: power is based on the fact that the person has superior skills and knowledge.
  • REFERENT: result of a person’s perceived attractiveness or worthiness.
  • COERCIVE: power based on the belief that a person can punish another for noncompliance.
