A self-sustaining unit made up of community of organisms in an area, the physical environment in which they live in the interactions between them.
What is a community?
A group of populations of different species, in an ecosystem living in close enough proximity to interact
What is symbiosis?
Symbiosis is a relationship between two or more individuals where at least one benefits
What is mutualism?
A symbiotic relationship where both organisms benefit
What is commensalism?
A relationship between two organisms where one benefits and the other is unharmed.
What is parasitism?
A symbiotic relationship where one organism is armed, and the other one benefits (host, and parasite)
