P Orbitals
Shape : Dumbbell shape
Orbitals : 3
Electrons : Can hold a maximum of 6
D Orbital
Shape : Daisy or four leaf clover
Orbitals : 5
Electrons : Can hold a maximum of 10 electrons
F Orbital
Shape : Tetrahedral
Orbitals : 7

Name the blocks on the periodic table
Full electronic configuration
1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 3d10 4s2 4p6 5s2
they usually put 3d10 first and then 4p6
How do electrons spin in orbitals ?
They spin in opposite directions
Energy level in sub shells
3d has higher energy level than 4s this is why we fill that subshell fully first and then go onto 4s
Give the elcectronic configuration for Ca2+
Electronic configuration for K
