Lignin makes it strong and waterproof
Long, thin cells arranged end to end to form vessels
Palisade Cell
Photosynthesizes
Found on leaves
Regular shape so many can fit in a small shape
Many chloroplasts
Cell

Tissue
Group of cells with similar structures, working together to perform a shared function

A structure made up of tissue working together to perform a specific function

A group of organs working together to perform body functions
Examples: Respiratory System, Immune System, Reproductive Systems, Muscular Skeletal System, Circulatory System, Excretory System, Nervous System, Digestive System & Endocrine System
