214A Railroad Crashes And Incidents Flashcards
JSO at a class A Railroad crash will:
Care for injured, secure scene, assist JFRD.
Railroad crash, jso will investigate if:
Criminal interference, or neglect
FDOT will also investigate if,
Derailment 10 or more cars, 3 or more fatalities, pattern or trend.
Due to hazardous materials, stay:
Upwind.
Shipping papers are kept in the
Head of the train.
First officer on scene shall,
Care for injured, secure the scene.
Responding officer will also
Notify supervisor, notify the PECO of the association of American railroads AAR number Crossing marker, and determine what additional resources are required
The Watch Commander will be notified if there is
Serious injury death or release of hazardous materials
The supervisor will notify the Peco of
Command post location
Vera crashes involving Motor Vehicles pedestrians are other conveniences will be investigated by
JSO
If a train collides with a motor vehicle that’s on the roadway what will be done
Long-form crash report
Train crash on private property what will be done
Incident report accidental death Accident Injury or damage property
If a train collides with a all-terrain vehicle will be done

If a train collides with a bicyclist were pedestrian regardless of location what will be done

Engineer is impaired
