What is level A/B/ C Manning?

Answer 1

Level A - normal staffing day to day
Level B - full staffing of all available front line and reserve units
Level C - designated staffing in front line and reserve units to accomplish continuous staffing within confines of 12 or 24 hour operational periods.

Question 2

What is the activation of a level B and/or C Manning level considered? ?

Answer 2

Shall be considered an emergency “order in”condition. Upon notification all safety and non-safety shall report in for duty as soon as reasonably possible.

Question 3

What level C Manning is activated, what shall all on duty personnel expect?

Answer 3

Personnel on duty shall remain on duty until the condition level is terminated
Personnel shall obtain the approval of a battalion, chief, or ranking officer prior to being released from duty.

Question 4

What is the departments goal to transition to a level C Manning level?

Answer 4

End of first operational period or within 48 hours. Deputy Chief or higher activate this manning level.
