mild persistent asthma classification
symptoms are more than once a week but less than every day. nocturnal symptoms twice a month. 80% FEV1
continuous limited physical activity, frequent nocturnal symptoms,
severe persistent asthma symptoms
short acting beta agonist?
salbutamol
long acting beta agonist?
salmeterol, formoterol, bambuterol
anti IgE drug?
Omaluzimab
order off addition of drugs?
cortocisteroid
b2 agonist
then high dose corticosteroid +long acting B2 agonist.
leukotriene receptor agonist?
montelukast
what is Churg-Strauss syndrome
autoimmune condition causing inflammation of small and medium sized blood vessels. 1. airway inflammation 2. abnormally high no of eosinophils causing tissue damage 3. vasculitis and cells death.
