What causes the bubbles or the fizz in sparkling wines?
During the fermentation process alcohol and carbon dioxide gas is created by the yeast. In sparkling wines the carbon dioxide is left in the wines and is released, in bubbles, upon opening the bottled.
What is the definition of fortified wines?
Wines that have extra alcohol added to them which lead to higher levels of alcohol

White wine

From 15% to 22%
