No. Add 2” to width and 2” to height

Yes, as long as the hinges and hinge gains are equal distances from the top and bottom of the door, you can flip it
I can’t fit my flooring under my door jamb, what went wrong?
Shin up jamb while installing to maintain space for flooring after

No. Always hinge forst
Can I use nails in my door hinges?
No. Screws offer more adjustability
Does the hinge and strike sides of my door BOTH touch the door stop of my jamb?
No. Strike side touches but hinge side needs 1-2mm gap
Can I make my door jamb to be tight with my door?
No. Needs 3mm clearance on each side for movement
My door is catching on the floor constantly….
Leave 25mm at bottom of door jamb for clearance from flooring
Are hinges on my door and jamb at the same height?
No. Jamb hinges are 3mm lower to give clearance at top of door once installed

Do bifold doors need a full jamb?
No. Jamb that’s have as wide as the wall is thick. The door closes and the edge is hidden behind the jamb
Do we need to add drywall thickness to a bifold door RO?
Yes. The door closes and must sit in the opening that has drywall on the end of the wall
What are those weird clips at the bottom of my bifold door with a little peg in them that attaches to the door?
Bottom pivot block; guides the door in the opening when the joint pivots
What are those stupid clips on a bifold i keep hitting my shins on?
Alignment clips at the bottom of the door to keep the panels aligned with each other when closed

Top track and bottom bracket probably aren’t aligned relative to the half jamb
How can I level my pocket door with small adjustments?
Adjust the roller hardware at the top of the door
My door is a bit concave….
Hang it so the concave side is toward the stops. When you push the door closed it will straighten
If I can’t move my walls to align both sides of my opening, can I move my left and right jambs?
Yes you can offset them a bit so they are both aligned. Minor movements won’t be noticeable
Shimming behind a jamb hinge…
Can help align a door after material shrinks or the opening moves a bit when the house settles
Can I close a gap at the top of my door and jamb?
Yes, shim at the end of the Jong leaves, not near the pins
When you case a door, can the trim be flush with the opening?
No, leave a reveal along the jamb length
I need to adjust the miter angle on my casing….
