she is reserved and soft-spoken, and on the shy side.
reserved: quiet and not share your opinion.
soft-spoken: doesn’t speak very loudly.
on the shy side: may not be extremely shy, just a little bit shy.
she talked our ear off.
to talk one’s ear off
No one could get a word in edgewise with her.
can not talk because the other is talking too much
She was a little long-winded.
long-winded: too talkative and kinda bores people.
She is so close-mouthed and guarded that it was like pulling teeth
close-mouthed; guarded; like pulling teeth
I’d rather talk to someone who is a little reticent than a loudmouth.
reticent: unwilling to share your opinion; reserved.
loudmouth: a person that talks too much.
I don’t like the blathering, gossipy people.
blather: verb, to use a lot of words but have nothing in content.
