A

Established a pattern of fixed general elections every 5 years
Removed the ability for the PM to call general election at an advantageous time due to lib dem and conservative agreement

What is the scotland act 2012

A

Gave the Scottish govt the power to vary income tax up to 10p or the pound and devolved further powers to scotland
e.g. Area of regulation of controlled drugs
Allowing scotland to borrow up to 2 billion a year

A

This act offered citizens greater protection from the state putting in place proper scrutiny of security services and oversight of surveillance and data collection

A

Aimed to decrease massive number of peers the right to retire or resign their seat
Allows peers in the lords and giving existing peers to be removed as a result of serious criminal offence or non attendance
94 residence been removed for non attendance

Reform- The wales act 2014?

A

Seen as modest
Transferred controll of some smaller taxes to devolved institutions in wales
Set in place the possibility of asking westminster for further devolution on taxation
It also changed from welsh assembly govt to welsh govt
