contains whole or fractured microorganisms
What is a Killed vaccine?
dead whole microorganisms, or their components
Killed vaccine
Will there be Disease?

nontoxic- body can amount an immune response to it.
Whats in a vaccination?
giving a vaccine (whole or fractured organism) or toxoid
immunocompromised: can they be given a live vaccine?
Yes, it won’t hurt them but it may not be effective
Why won’t immunocompromised person given a live vaccine get affected?
immune system not able to mount a response (manufacture antibodies)
