We can measure the development of a country by:

• Gross National Income - (GNI) - the value of all the goods & services of a country divided by the number of people in that country
• Death Rates
• Infant Mortality (how many babies/young children die)
• Life Expectancy
• Number of people per doctor
• Literacy Rates
• Access to safe Water
• HDI (Human Development Index) - this is 3 measures added together - LIFE EXPENCTANCY + EDUCATION + GNI
