• Measured the heart’s electrical activity (heart beat cycle) through small electrode patches

• There was a delay of the patient’s pulse (measured at fingertip) from the peak of the heartbeat (R wave)
• This is bc the patient’s pulse (measured at fingertip) takes longer time to be received

What causes the lub dub sounds?

Caused by rhythmic closing of the heart valves as blood is pumped in + out of the chambers
