Q

What are the features of series circuits?

A
  • One switch placed anywhere can turn the whole circuit on or off.
  • If any one component breaks the whole circuit stops working.
  • The energy shared between bulbs is shared, so the more you add the less bright they become.

Q

What are the features of parallel circuits?

A
  • Switches can be place in different parts of the circuit and switch each bulb on and off individually.
  • If one bulb breaks, only the bulbs in that branch of the circuit will break.
  • Each branch receives the same voltage, so adding more bulbs wont affect the brightness of the bulb.
