Reducing angle between 2 bones
Move body part towards front (anteriorly)
What is extension?
Increasing angle between 2 bones
Moving body part backwards (posteriorly)
What is abduction?
Pulls body part away from midline
What is adduction?
Pulls body part towards midline
What is plantar flexion?
Pointing your toes
What is dorsiflexion?
Pull toes up towards you

Sternocleidomastoid
