Five SF mission criteria
The mission must be an appropriate special operations force mission or task.
The mission or tasks should support the joint force commander’s campaign or operation plan.
The mission or tasks must be operationally feasible.
Required resources must be available to execute and support the mission.
The expected outcome of the mission must justify the risk

Activities conducted to enable a resistance movement or
insurgency to coerce, disrupt, or overthrow a government or occupying power by operating
through or with an underground, auxiliary, and guerrilla force in a denied area.

SOF Truths
Humans are more important than Hardware.
Quality is better than Quantity.
Special Operations Forces cannot be mass produced.
Competent Special Operations Forces cannot be created after emergencies occur.
Most Special Operations require non-SOF assistance
