99% of money earmarked for spending on hospitals disappeared before it reached hospitals as spent on the military

Wages are very low so don’t have disposable income and have no spending power

Landlocked (Chad, Bolivia) so have to rely on agreements with other countries to trade, incurring additional costs, may have poor relations
Why is globalisation limited to being shallow?
Rely on exporting commodities (Zambia and copper) so can’t develop complex trade networks

Don’t create consumer networks as not a viable market
