Static web page
Dynamic web pages

e.g what the business is now working on

Takes a lot of time and effort to create posts, especially if videos need to be edited
Potential customers could be lost if blog is not updated regularly
Difficult to build up customer base from a blog
Blogs must be engaging and research must be correct
What is a Podcast?
Downloadable audio file on a certain topic e.g sports, gaming, comedy
Listened to when convenient
Pros and cons of podcast
Can be listened to when convenient for the user, so they can miss content and catch up whenever
Not usually recorded live, so they can be edited and uploaded at a certain time each week
Takes time to record, especially if it needs to be edited or to remove mistakes
Difficult to build up an audience, podcasts should be on a topic that interest people and spoken in an engaging way
Streamed Audio & Video
Steaming:
Receiving video and audio data in a continuous flow allowing for immediate access
Pros and cons of streaming media
Does not require data to be downloaded entirely before use, as long as the user connects they can watch or listen
Contains piracy protection
Requires High bandwidth which could lead to performance issues on slower networks
Requires a constant network connection compared to downloadable media
Social media channels
Provide a huge amount of data on users in an Informal space
Organisations can receive feedback through user posts and comments
Real time statistics providing an insight into user opinion
Pros and cons of social media channels
Increase a businesses online presence, it’s online 24/7 for users to comment and interact
Posts can be shared between users allowing for a viral post
Businesses can use social media to communicate with their customers, whether that be for feedback and responding to an unhappy customer
Negative posts can be shared and spread quickly e.g a customer complaint leading to poor reputation
Businesses need to be cautious about what they post as it may offend others leading to a damaged reputation
Businesses may need to hire a social media manager to interact with customers
Emails
Used to provide information to a large amount of people instantly
Businesses purposes:
Advertise new products
Inform customers (potential) of marketing promotions
Target specific customers based on interactions
