What is an independent variable?
The variable that is changed in an experiment

The variable affected by the change in the independent variable
(measured)
What things should a hypothesis be?
Specific, testable, explanatory, and you can use it for predictions.

A group used to make comparisons to see if the changed variable has an effect

1 or more groups with the chnaged variable
