What types of patterns can an argument have?
A
- Vertical Pattern: Flows straight down with each premise supporting the following.
- Horizontal Pattern: Not a chain reaction anymore, but each premise supports the argument separately.
- Conjoint Pattern: The premises cannot support the conclusion without supporting each other. Alone, they are not strong enough.
