- Ranked based on standardized score or criteria.
Why is it so important to recognize language delays?

What can cause language delays (4)?
Cognitive, familial, environmental, or cultural factors:
- Not immersed in language-rich environment.
- Psychological disorder (deprivation, autism).
- Speech disorders with physical problems (cleft lip, palate, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment).
- Idiopathic.
What 6 factors indicate readiness for toilet training?
- Voluntary sphincter control.
- Able to stay dry 2 hours.
- Fine motor skills to remove clothing.
- Willingness to please parents.
- Curiosity about toileting habits.
