1) COMPLETE

  • Separation of all layers of uterine wall, incl serosa
  • There’s a tear in peritoneum
  • Leading to intraperitoneal + vaginal hemorrhage

2) INCOMPLETE (Uterine Dehiscence)

  • Partial Separation of Uterine Scar
  • Extends thru endometrium + myometrium ONLY
  • INTACT Peritoneum
