1) COMPLETE
- Separation of all layers of uterine wall, incl serosa
- There’s a tear in peritoneum
- Leading to intraperitoneal + vaginal hemorrhage
2) INCOMPLETE (Uterine Dehiscence)
- Partial Separation of Uterine Scar
- Extends thru endometrium + myometrium ONLY
- INTACT Peritoneum

- abdominal pain between contractions
- vaginal bleeding
- sudden pause in contractions
- fetal distress
- Palpable foetal parts thru rupture
- hypovolemic shock
