- To be commercially viable, carpet design needs to incorporate recycling as an end of life feature (e.g. less toxic materials & constructing so easier to separate materials)
- Appreciates difficulty of developing carpet- only highly innovative award-winning Joshawk Carpets has done it
- Will carpet industry move into sustainable model on its own or will it need regulatory changes?
