Is it possible to change blocked time from one block to another kind of block?

Answer 1

Yes. For example, you could change Physical blocks to Same Day blocks.

how does the time release of blocks functionality work?

Answer 2

It changes a block to either a different block or an unblocked slot x days before the day on the schedule. This allows you to free up certain blocked slots to be used for other purposes.

After you associate a block with a visit type, what does it mean to select “All slots” in the match on field?

Answer 3

It means the visit type block must match in all of the slots intended for scheduling.

Checks visit type when being scheduled and shows where it is used on the schedule.

What is a patient level block?

Answer 5

Checks ADT patient status, patient type to make sure the right patient is being scheduled. I.e. inpatient blocks look at a patient’s status to keep outpatient from being scheduled.
