What is the purpose of ITER policy and reporting?
To establish the process for reporting conditions that may reduce the ability to train and/or educate personnel, and to seek assistance from their chain of command when necessary.

What is ITER Condition RED?
A situation that cancels or stops training/education entirely or degrades NEC-producing training to the point that the NEC cannot be awarded.
What is ITER Condition YELLOW?
A situation that may result in delayed or cancelled classes, failure to instruct critical learning objectives, degradation in the ability to meet scheduled throughput or quality of instruction if appropriate action is not taken.
What are the ITER Types?

What are the ITER Categories?
Initial, Update, COR
What is an MTO?
The loss of a course quota by a command.
Examples of an MTO for Command.
- A command has a quota for a student who does not report for a course and the command does not provide a replacement.
- A command cancels a granted quota in four or fewer working days prior to a course’s convening without providing a replacement.
Examples of an MTO for Student.
- A student does not meet course prerequisites.
- A student is absent from the course to the extent that they cannot obtain credit.
- A student cannot obtain credit due to the command recall of the student.
When are MTO Data gathered and what format are they sent?
Weekly MTO Report, via Navy Message.
