How do you turn an mixed fraction into an improper fraction?
Multiply the whole number by the denominator and add the numerator.
How do you order fractions?
Find the lowest common denominator. Express them with the LCD and order them.
How do you add fractions?
Find the LCD add the numerators together and place over the LCD.
How do you subtract fractions?
Use the same method as with addition, make sure to turn mixed fractions into improper.
How do you multiply fractions?
Multiply the tops by one another and then the bottoms.
How do you divide fractions?
Invert the second one and multiply.
