Cauliflower ear: fibrous build-up of internal ear tissues from repeated trauma and auricular hematoma.

Cerumen buildup in external acoustic meats. Most common ear problem doctors see.

OM: Infection of middle part of ear, often associated w/ upper respiratory infections.
Infection mastoid air cells: similar to sinus infection, infection gets trapped due to inflammation of mucus membrane. This infection can spread to the middle ear, usually when it is diagnosed.

Vertigo or Ménière’s disease: thought to be due to bursting of membranous labyrinth.
