Trajectory: path of projectile through the air
Burst of Fire: # of rounds in each burst 6-20
Cone of Fire: different trajectories as a result of ammo, condition, tripod, vibration, recoil
Beaten Zone: are on the ground upon which the cone of fire falls
Dead Space: areas within the max range which are obstructed
Danger Space:are from muzzle, including the beaten zone, where a standing man will be hit

Patrol to detect/destroy infiltration by the enemy and protect against ambush

- Covering team members used to support clearing of a room. Stay out of each others fields of fire.
- Clearing an L-Shaped hallway. Cutting the pie.
- Clearing a T-Shaped hallway. Cutting the pie.
- Clearing a stairwell. Clear from below before you move up.
