- need 5/9 symptoms (Mnemonic – AM SUICIDE): Abandonment fears, mood instability, suicide/self-injurious behaviors, unstable + intense relationships, impulsivity, control of anger is poor, identity disturbance, dissociative/paranoid symptoms, emptiness

- If present earlier, either adolescence-limited conduct disorder or oppositional defiant disorder
