Disney: core is creativity and wholesomeness/ change the market in order to remain to the core-product comes second then reason for existing is making people happy

BHA goals: big hairy audacious goals rev up the whole organization - 10 -30 years
vivid descriptions paint the picture of what it ll be like to achieve those-realizes BHA goals

there is no universally right sets of values and depends on the identity of the company -3 to 5 and should pass the test of time

strategy vs purpose
you can achieve a strategy but you can not fulfill a purpose- like a star in horizon an organization should always be creative and pursuing
purpose does not change but
purpose does not changes but does inspire change- not a product and statement but solving a general problem- start by product and ask five whys to get to the core
core purpose
maximizing shareholder values
no core purpose is maximizing shareholder wealth- it is off the shelf purpose
what is the purpose of this company so that
what is the purpose of this company so that if we wake up tomorrow billion-are we still come and work here- a clear understanding of purpose to make things meaningful
