INCLUDES ACTIVITIES THAT REQUIRE NOT MUCH OF YOUR ENERGY, OR THOSE THAT ONLY ASKS YOU TO OBSERVE. EXAMPLES ARE WATCHING MOVIES, LISTENING TO MUSIC, WATCHING BALL GAMES ETC.
Passive Recreation
are also a part of the recreation program. The word literally tells us that these are undertaken on the comfort of one’s home or more specifically indoor and they are to recreate the mind and soul.
Indoor Recreational Activities
refers to leisure activities that take place in a natural setting and benefit the body, mind and/or spirit. Examples are Hiking, Fishing, Trekking, Camping or Wildlife Viewing.
Outdoor Recreational Activities
IT INCLUDES COMPANY, LIKE FRIENDLY VISITS, GOING OUT, AND GATHERING WITH OTHER PEOPLE.
SOCIALIZING MOTIVE
IT IS FOR COLLECTIVE INTEREST LIKE READING, ITEM COLLECTION, AND OTHERS.
ASSOCIATIVE MOTIVE
IT TESTS THE LIMIT OF THE PARTICIPANT WHICH COULD BE HIS/HER LIMITATIONS FOR SPORTS, PERFORMING ARTS COMPETITION ETC.
COMPETITIVE MOTIVE
IT INVOLVES LEVEL OF EXPLORATION LIKE HIKING, DIVING, EXPOSE TO NEW ENV.
EXPLORATORY MOTIVE
The way a person live their life in an everyday basis. These are the patterns of behavior on how a person typically lives. It includes eating habits, physical activity participation, and recreational choice.
