1. Normal Power Up Flashcards
Flaps…..Check
Lever and Surface position should agree. If not, reposition FLAPS lever to the actual surface position.
Batt Master…….On
Flight compartment and standby lights come on when the battery bus is powered and normal AC power is off. When using the main battery as the only source of power, do not exceed 5 minutes of operations, as there will be insufficient cooling of the displays.
Firex monitor system test…..Complete
- Engine Bottle 1 and 2 switches….Test and hold (4 green lights L/R Eng Squib 1/2
- Engine Bottle 1 and 2 switches…release (lights go out)
- APU Bottle Switch…Test and hold 5 seconds (2 green lights APU Squib 1/2)
- APU Bottle Switch…Release (APU Squib 1/2 on momentarily, then out)
Fire detection systems…Test
Select Warn…Hold switch for 10 seconds
- Fire Bell
- Jet Pipe Overheat
- 5 Red (L/R Engine Fire, APU Fire, L/R Jetpipe OVHT)
- 6 Switches (LH/RH Enging Fire push, APU Fire, Bottle 1 1,2,APU)
Select Fail…Hold in this position
- 5 Ambers (L/R Fire Fail, APU Fire Fail, L/R JETPIP OVHT fail)
- Messages go out when switch released
APU…Start
-APU Gen Off
-LCV presssed out
-APU Power Fuel Pressed In
-APU Start/Stop Press In (35-45 start light out, 95+4 seconds-Avail light on, 100%+15 APU Gen OFF caution)
Note: APU Battery Caution may appear momentarily during APU start. If time permits, allow APU rpm to stabilize at 100% for 2 minutes before applying bleed air load.
Bleed leak detection….Test
Test -4 Swiches (L/R Duct Fail 10th/14th) -5 Reds (L/R 10th Duct warn, L/R 14th Duct warn, Anti-Ice Duct) -1 Green (Duct Test OK) -Aural Bleed Air Duct Loop A/B -No warnings 1 Green (Loop A/B test OK)
AC and DC Electrics…..Established
HSD (604) Depressed
IRIDIUM, LAN, and WIFI (605) Depressed
Lamp Test
Complete
Select to 1 and hold. Check all switch/lights come on. Release, check lights go out. Repeat on 2.
