What causes it?
A
CHD - plaques form in coronary arteries
One or several coronary arteries gets blocked when plaque ruptures and forms a clot

A
Smoking, alcohol HTN Obesity Hypercholesterolaemia Diabetes FH Lack of exercise

How does it present?
A
Chest pain - radiating to jaw, neck, arms
SOB
Feeling weak / lightheaded

What signs may the patient have on examination?
A
Crushing chest pain
Tachycardia
High BP (or low if in shock)
