Private Pilot Eligibility Requirements

Flight Experience Requirements to carry passengers
Three takeoffs and landings within preceding 90 days for day
Three takeoffs and landings full stop within preceding 90 days for night only during the period 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise
Pilot Logging Requirements
Only required to document and record training for aeronautical experience used to meet requirements for certificate, rating, flight review, or aeronautical experience required for meeting recent flight experience requirements
Airworthiness required Inspections
- 409 - Annual Inspection (required for AI A&P to do)
- 171 - VOR Equipment (Every 30 days for IFR Ops)
- 409 - 100 Hour if used for Hire or Instruction
- 411 - Altimeter, Altitude Reporting, Pitot-Static (24 cals)
- 413 - Transponder tested/inspected (24 Cals)
- 207 - ELT 12 Cal, Battery Replaced 1 hour or half battery
Airworthiness of an Aircraft
Aircraft must conform to its type design this includes STC and field approved alterations, the aircraft must have the required documents, required inspections, required equipment, and is in a condition for safe flight complied with by owner or operator and verified by PIC
Determining Aircraft is its Approved Type Design and is Safe for flight
Approved for type design you must determine preventive maintenance, maintenance, and alterations have been performed in accordance with parts 91, 43, 21 by checking aircraft logbooks and the aircraft is registered in the US.
Safe Flight is determined by thorough systematic pre-flight checklist that determines if everything is safe if INOP equipment is found then INOP equipment checklist should be followed (91.213)
Airworthiness Location
Airworthiness Certificate must be placed in a visible place at the entrance for all passengers and crew members to view
