What is VLAN tagging?
A
The sending switch adds another header (or tag) to the frame before sending it over the trunk. This extra VLAN header includes a VID so that the sending switch can list the VLAN ID and the receiving switch can identify the VLAN

- Priority 3 bits

A

VLAN 1, where switchports are put by default, cannot be deleted
