“The discipline of philosophy dealing with what is good and bad with moral duty and obligation”

- Robots ethical treatment of people
- People’s ethical treatment of robots

What are the five “Principles of Robotics”?
A
- Robots should not be designed as weapons, except for national security reasons.
- Robots should be designed and operated to comply with existing law, including privacy.
- Robots are products: as with other products, they should be designed to be safe and secure.
- Robots are manufactured artefacts: the illusion of emotions and intent should not be used to exploit vulnerable users.
- It should be possible to find out who is responsible for any robot.

What is the Wizard-Of-Oz method and what are some concerns about it?
A
An operator controls the robot without the users knowing, this allows for more control while stille keeping the illusion of the robot being more skilled/autonomous than it is.
This can manipulate the users to believ that robotic technology is more advanced than it actually is.
