Stregth
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
Flexibility
Range of motion in your joints
Cardiovascular endurance
Ability to exercise the body for long periods of time
Body composition
Percentage of the body that is muscle,fat or bone
Muscular endurance
Ability to use voluntary muscles many times without getting tired
Agility
Ability to control the movement of the whole body and change position quickly
Speed
Rate of which an individual can cover a movement of range or distance
Reaction time
Time between the presentation of the stimulus and the onset of a movement
What is balance?
Keep the body stable, while at rest of in motion
Power
Ability to undertake strength performances quickly
Co ordination
Ability to use two or more body parts together
Interval
Involves alternating stages of high and low intensity activity
Fartlek
For runners where speed and terrain is constantly changing
Continuous
Aerobic exercises at a moderate to high intensity with no rest
Circuit
Is a series of exercise, completed for a certain amount of time, one after another
