- Jesus was preaching in Galilee ‘the kingdom of god is near’
- saw simon and andrew fishing and told them to follow
- they left AT ONCE
- then they saw james and john(sons of zebedee) and they left immediately too
- then they saw levi and said follow me and he got up and followed
- jesus had dinner with tax collectors and sinners
- people asked why does he eat with sinners and he said its not the healthy that need doctors,but the sick.

- there is importance in the church:the pope,priests,bishops
- todays society greatness can be judged by appearence and affluence
- people may not want to give it up

- have to give away money to get eternal life
- the wealthier a person is the more difficult it is to be a disciple
